Vanesa Martínez, nacida en Barcelona el el 27 de septiembre de 1973, es licenciada en Administración y Direcció de Empresas (ADE) per la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Desde el año 2005 y hasta la actualidad, es Presidenta y Directora General del Grupo CARINSA, compañía a la que pertenece desde el año 1995 y donde también ejerció la función de Directora Financiera, y miembro del Consejo de Administración de San Antonio Biotics. De forma complementaria y conciliada, Vanesa Martínez ostenta diversos cargos por membresía, de los cuales destacan los siguientes: Miembro de la comisión agroalimentaria de la Cámara de Comercio de España, Miembro del Grupo de Trabajo GAS – Alimentación y Salud de la Plataforma “Food for Life Spain”, del Grupo de Trabajo de I+D+i y del Grupo de Trabajo de lácteos, de FIAB – Federación Española de Industrias de la Alimentación y Bebida, Vicepresidenta de AMAF, Asociación Mediterránea de Aromas y Fragancias, miembro del comité científico del Parc de Recerca de la UAB (PRUAB), Patrona y miembro de la comisión ejecutiva d’EURECAT – Centro tecnológico de Cataluña, miembro de la Junta Directiva de la Patronal PIMEC – micro, petita i mitjana empresa de Catalunya, miembro del Pleno de la Cambra de Comerç de Sabadell, Vocal de la Junta Directiva de la Mútua Intercomarcal, miembro de la Comisión internacional de la Fundació Internacional de la Dona Emprenedora (FIDEM), miembro de la Junta Directiva de l’Associació d’Empreses Industrials Internacionalitzades (AMEC) y Vicepresidenta del clúster Food n’ Nutrition.
